Logos and Design

1.How long until I get my designs?

5 days. Other places make you pay more to “rush” you order, but at Sketch, we’ll always deliver your initial concepts in just three business days.

2.In what file formats will I get my designs?

We want you to be able to actually use your designs, so we’ll give you your design files in everything you need, including…

Raw Vector (EPS)
If you need it in another format not listed above, we’re glad to help. Just ask.

3.How do revisions work?

We’ll start off by giving you multiple design concepts. Keep in mind that the design process is highly iterative and collaborative, so we send you the initial designs, we’ll ask for your feedback to make the designs even better.

Usually, our clients ask us to tweak colors, fonts and layout. Sometimes, they even ask us to combine the top half of one concept with the bottom half of another.

Whatever the revision, big or small, we’ll continue to revise your design until it’s absolutely perfect.

4.Who owns the copyright for my final designs?

You do. Simple as that.

1.Do you guys do logo contests?

Absolutely not. We have a community of designers, which have an average of 10+ years experience in logo and branding design for small businesses.

We assign projects based on that individual designer’s expertise. For instance, one designer might be really good at sports mascots whereas another is really good at floral logos.

Our Project Managers are experts at making sure to pick the right designer for the right job.

2.Does every project come with a Project Manager?

Yes. Every single design package we offer comes with a dedicated project manager, a real, live, human who’s based in the US, is friendly, and is an expert in all things design.

We don’t do phone trees here at Logoworks, and your Project Manager will be your primary point of contact for any question, big or small.

3.What is your view on spec work?

At Sketc, we are 100% against spec, or speculative, work.

We believe it is unethical to ask designers to submit work in mere hopes of getting paid. That’s why all of our designers at Logoworks receive a fair wage for work they submit.

4.Where are you located?

We’re based in Ponton, Aruba. If you’re around, come visit us at Bonchi Strenastraat 2.

Business Cards & Stationery

1.Do the prices include printing?

If you select a design package that includes printing, then you’re covered. Don’t worry, if you pick a package without printing, we can always add it on later.

2.Do printing prices include tax and shipping?

Yes. We hate it when companies secretly add on extra charges like shipping. At Sketch, the price you see is the final price for your designs, printed and delivered to your door.

3.Do I have to print my cards with Sketch?

Of course not. But we sure hope that we wow you so much with our service that you’ll choose to print with us.

If you’d prefer a local printer, that’s OK too. We’ll give you the design files in all of the industry-standard formats, so you can print anywhere.

4.What kind of paper do you print on?

For business cards, you have your choice of three paper types

120#, 14pt, Glossy (super shiny, heavyweight cardstock)
120#, 14pt, Dull-Matte (Our favorite, because it has an ever-so-slight sheen, and is a nice heavyweight cardstock
100# 12pt, Uncoated (A no-frills, standard weight stock)
For Letterhead, we print on Hammermill 70# Lustre – An absolutely beautiful paperstock that performs well in both Laser and Inkjet printers.

Web Design

1.Do your website packages also include coding?

Of course! All our standard packages include design, coding, and integration onto your server or hosting platform

2.I don't have a web host. Does Sketch provide hosting?

Yes! We’ve partnered with BlueHost to bring you reliable, inexpensive hosting. Just make sure to choose hosting when you select your web design package.

3.What content management system (CMS) do you use at Logoworks?

We use WordPress as our de facto CMS of choice here at Sketch.

If you need your files in straight HTML or need to use another CMS, we’re glad to help with that too.

4.Wordpress? Isn't that a blogging platform?

Not anymore. Back in the early 2000s, WordPress was just a blog platform. Today, it has grown to become a full enterprise solution that’s easy to use and easy to update.

WordPress is actually used for the websites of dozens of well-known companies, including the NY Times, UPS, Forbes, and of course Sketch.
